Welcome to FHWS International!
Internationalisation is one of the most important considerations at our university in Germany. For over 30 years now, FHWS has welcomed international students from more than 80 countries. Today, we cooperate with over 170 partner universities worldwide.
Great emphasis is therefore placed on supporting international students. This begins when you commence your studies at FHWS: we offer an orientation programme before the start of each semester to help students find their bearings at the university and in Germany. Cultural training, events, and excursions are also offered throughout the semester.
Please explore this website for details of the different study options at FHWS. You are able to complete an entire degree in German or English, for example, or to spend one to two semesters here as an exchange student.
Are you already a student at FHWS and interested in an international exchange programme? We have compiled all important information for you and can gladly advise on this particularly exciting time in your life.
We offer lecturers and university staff information on the different options and opportunities abroad, and are of course also on hand to answer any questions.
Please note that our website is available in other languages as well:
Please visit the homepage of FHWS for its latest news and additional information about Faculties, advisory services, and research topics.
Bachelor’s students from Turkey, Argentina, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Colombia report in different articles on their experiences during their first semester at FHWS. You can find experience reports about the Bachelor’s programmes Architecture, Business and Engineering, E-Commerce, International Management, Logistics, Mechatronics, and Business and Engineering (German Bachelor’s programme).
Are you interested in spending a semester abroad? Take a look at our Europe Diaries, in which FHWS students share their experiences and impressions as outgoing students. You can find interesting reports from students who studied at our partner institutions in Italy, Finland, Poland, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and more.
